(TITC) - On 25th September 2024 (local time), in the framework of the Vietnam Tourism and Cinema Promotion Programme in the US, the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) organised the exhibition to introduce images of Vietnam's land, people and culture.
Here, the pavilions of MOCST along with localities, corporations, and businesses introduced images of Vietnam's country and people, outstanding destinations, products, and services, attracting tourists from the US market. This is also a place for partners from both sides to meet, exchange and seek cooperation and business opportunities in the fields of tourism and cinema. The pavilions attracted many delegates and partners in the US to learn, exchange and enjoy traditional Vietnamese art performances.
At the same time, MOCST held an exhibition of 93 artistic photos about the beauty of Vietnam by photographer Tran Tuan Viet. Photographer Tran Tuan Viet's photos are imbued with the beauty of landscapes and the unique cultures of ethnic groups and destinations. The photos have made a mark in the media and have been loved and highly appreciated by many foreign viewers.

“Under the filtering process, from 150 photos, the Organising Board has selected 93 typical photos with artistic quality, attractive to foreign tourists to display in the exhibition”, said VNAT’s Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh at the press conference.
93 photos displayed at the Vietnam Tourism and Cinema Promotion Programme in the US introduce very famous landmarks that Hollywood filmmakers have known such as: Son Doong Cave, Phong Nha Ke Bang, Ninh Binh, Ha Long Bay, Hoi An, and also promote potential destinations that are not yet well known to foreigners such as Ha Giang, Binh Thuan, Da Lat …
From 23rd to 25th September 2024, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) organises the Vietnam Tourism and Cinema Promotion Programme in San Francisco and Los Angeles, California, the USA, under the theme “Destination Vietnam - A New Filmmaking Frontier”. The programme is to celebrate One-Year Anniversary of the US-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, opening up opportunities for deeper cooperation in the fields of tourism and cinema between the two countries.
