Vietnam Museum of Military History open to the public

Newly-built Vietnam Museum of Military History at Km 6+500 Thang Long Boulevard, Ha Noi is open to the public in two months, starting November 1.

This museum is modernly designed and diversified in functions. It has four floors and one basement, covering an area of 386,600 sq.m.

The museum attracts a lot of visitors right on the first day of opening.

The museum is home to more than 150,000 exhibits, including four national treasures and a lot of precious artifacts.

With modern display, information technology application, such as 3D mapping, audio guide, QR code, the museum is expected to bring new experiences to visitors.

The Vietnam Museum of Military History is a key project in celebration of the 80th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army.

Attentively, more than 60 video clips are projected in the museum, giving visitors a general view of campaigns, battles, historical figures and touching their hearts. 

This typical cultural structure of Ha Noi will contribute to preserving and promoting quintessence of the country's military cultural heritage, meeting the needs of research, study, sightseeing, and cultural enjoyment of domestic and international visitors from all walks of life.
