Located in Na Cha Village, Chieng Khoa Commune, about seven kilometers from the center of Van Ho District, Son La Province, Nang Tien Waterfall is nestled amid the vast mountain ranges and forests of Son La. The waterfall features three main tiers, each offering unique scenery and experiences, allowing visitors to explore and connect with nature at different levels.

The first tier is the most popular, with gently flowing water creating shallow, calm pools ideal for swimming and relaxation. To reach the second tier, visitors must follow the stream upstream, where the path becomes more challenging but rewards explorers with stunning photo opportunities of the waterfall cascading into a jade-green pool. The deeper water and moss-covered rocks at the second and third tiers require extra caution, as the terrain can be slippery.

Nang Tien Waterfall is surrounded by rich vegetation and remains largely untouched by human hands. The waterfall flows gracefully through rocky crevices, creating a vibrant natural landscape. The cool, green forest and the sound of cascading water echoing through the mountains make it a perfect retreat for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. However, conquering the waterfall’s base can be difficult due to whirlpools and hidden rock formations.

Visitors can explore Nang Tien Waterfall year-round. It offers a refreshing escape from the heat and a peaceful atmosphere. From March to May, light rains enhance the jade-green hue of the water, blending beautifully with the surrounding lush greenery. During the rainy season, from July to August, the waterfall transforms into a powerful, foaming spectacle, surrounded by flourishing vegetation, creating a grand and breathtaking view.
