Update: 25/05/2011
Ba Na is located on Chua Mount in the Truong Son mountain chain, around 1,487m above the sea, in Hoa Vang District, 30 kilometres from the centre of Danang City.

Discovered by the French in 1901, Ba Na was built into a famous resort in Indochina at that time. In 1919, the French colonists established a hill station at the summit of Ba Na. In recent years, a tourism resort has been re-established at the site with hotels and guesthouses. Each one has its own flower garden with many types of aristocratic flower that Frenchmen left.

A modern system of cable cars helps the visitors get a spectacular view, very miraculous and attractive while enjoying a feeling of flying in the blue sly amidst the clouds and wind. All worries of life will likely disappear, giving place for pleasures and happiness. Ba Na is now a famous tourist site in central Vietnam.

Ba Na resort is part of the Ba Na-Nui Chua nature reserve, with a total area of 8,838 hectares.
