Launching ceremony “Environmental protection Week” in Tam Coc - Bich Dong

In November 11, 2007 morning, at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist spot, (Ninh Hải commune, Hoa Lu district, Ninh Binh province), “ Environmental protection Week" was launched in coordination with Ninh Binh Tourism Department, Management Board of Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist spot, Ha Noi Tourism College, People’s Committee of Ninh Hai commune and several other organizations and sectors.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Dinh Chung Phung, member of Standing Committee, Vice Director of Finance and Planning Department - Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism and General Secretary of Viet Nam Tourism Association; Mr. Trinh Xuan Hong, member of Party provincial committee, Director of Ninh Binh Tourism Department; leadership of departments, sectors of province and local people, tourist, youth union and pupils of Ninh Hai commune.
Launching “Environmental protection Week” at Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist spot with a massage and practical activity, that is: “Protecting tourism environment to improve your living standard and community”; organizing contest on writing and drawing for elementary and secondary pupilsx in Ninh Hai commune with the theme: “We write and draw about native environment protection”; investing facilities, equipment to protect environmental hygiene; collecting and classifying wastes; restoring and preserving natural landscape; protecting water sources; no catching and destroying animal and aquiculture and not building construction work to break the harmony on environmental landscape.
Launching “Environmental protection Week” has created strong motive in the construction and maintenance of cultural life and tourism. Each person strives to be active propagator in the environmental protection, creating order and professional tourism activities, making Tam Coc - Bich Dong tourist spot as a highlight on sustainable, green-clean-beautiful tourism environment, imbued with localized cultural identity.
