Mon beach

Update: 11/04/2012
Mon beach of Hoa Xuan Nam commune (Dong Hoa district) is like a picture posted in front of you. To arrive in Mon Beach, one can take a boat departing from Vung Ro.

Mon beach expresses the natural and neglected beauty in front of the sea. The soft white sandy beaches stretch far toward the blue clean water. More interestingly, to the West of Mon Beach is a stream! After working one’s way out of the rocks and shady tree parasols of North Pass forest, one can feel the cool water currents running through the beach before mixing with the ocean.

Coming to Mon beach, not only indulging yourselves in the cool water currents, from very early in the morning, tourists can also buy the completely seafood sold form the fishing boats arriving at sunrise and self make attractive basic but featured dishes. As the very first sunlight comes out, tourists can continue with the journey to Hai Dang lighthouse, close to Mon beach, at the height of 700m. When the sun is over, tourists can enjoy the view of fishing boats with lots of nets, forming a strange-looking picture as the net vaults get wider outstretched by sea winds. If one stays overnight here, after the deep sleep in the sea fresh air, one can wake up early to enjoy the sunrise, the very first sunlight in Vietnam. The sun slowly rises from the sea, blazing red like a fire. The sunlight reflects, the sea is like silvered, gold laminated. Then groups of boats come back from a night catching out, arriving in the sparkling sunlight. The red whispered bulbuls, flowerpeckers appear all of the sudden then prowl about. The most fabulous is to enjoy Mon Beach from high above, in the warm spring sun, each calm wave thrusting toward the shore like huddling and kissing the sandy beach.
