The Ta Tung Tu (Left Temple) relic in the complex of King Minh Mang’s tomb in central Thua Thien-Hue province has been re-opened after one year of restoration
According to Director of the Hue Relic Preservation Centre Phan Thanh Hai, the restoration project cost 46,000 USD offered by the World Monuments Fund.
Ta Tung Tu is a place of worship dedicated to high-ranking mandarins under the reign of King Minh Mang during the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1945).
The project helped restore the most important worship area in the Tomb of King Ming Mang.
