Unsafe tourist boats to be banned from operating

Following recent instructions from the Da Nang authorities, the operation of unsafe tourist boats in the city will be banned during the summer season.
Local relevant agencies are required to work together to check and make proposals for all local tourist boats to dock at the Da Nang Port on Bach Dang Street.
The city’s Department of Transport has also been asked to coordinate with local relevant agencies to monitor passenger pick-up and drop-off points. Ladder-like horizontal bars linking a boat’s deck to the ground for picking up passengers will be forbidden. This aims to ensure the safety of passengers as well as the beauty of the city’s tourism environment.
