Hanoi and the Hungarian capital, Budapest, have reached a cooperative agreement on clean water supply and management.
According to the agreement signed on June 24, Budapest will help Hanoi train experts, improve water supply services and reduce the waste of clean water.
Vice Chairperson of the Hanoi municipal People’s Committee Vu Hong Khanh thanked Budapest for its assistance and called for more support in health care, education, transportation, science and technology.
Khanh emphasized that this cooperative agreement will help Hanoi realize its goal of providing clean water for all residents in the city’s inner districts and ensure an adequate supply for its rural areas.
