Work on a water supply and sanitation project, which receives the Finnish Government’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) of nearly €11 million, began in Northern Bac Kan province on August 1.
The project has the Vietnamese side’s corresponding capital of €2.5 million.
It aims to deal with environmental pollution issues in Bac Kan Town while providing clean water for residents in the inner part of the town as well as its surrounding areas.
Besides, the project will also help improve the environment quality in the Cau River’s lower land.
The project is expected to complete in 18 months.
