Climate change vulnerability: Vietnam ranks 26th

Recently, global risks advisory firm Maplecroft (UK) has announced the inference on the vulnerability of countries to the impacts of climate change. Accordingly, Vietnam ranks 26.

The results of this analysis are based on the research and synthesis of the impact of climate change in many countries. Accordingly, Topping the list of countries at highest risk of climate change were Dhaka (Bangladesh), Mumbai (India) , Manila ( Philippines ) , Kolkata (India ) and Bangkok (Thailand ) . The two cities most at risk are low- Paris ( France ) and London ( UK) .

Meanwhile, all low risk countries are in northern Europe , including Iceland , Norway , Ireland , Finland , Luxembourg , and Denmark. 10 most affected countries are Bangladesh , Guinea Bissau , Sierra Leone , Haiti , Sudan , Nigeria , Congo , Cambodia , the Philippines and Ethiopia . The extremely high -risk group includes India (ranked 20 ) , Pakistan ( 24th ) and Vietnam (No. 26 ) . Indonesia (No. 38 ) , Thailand ( 45th ) , China (No. 61 ) are in high- risk group.
