(TITC) - Lai Chau Tourism – Culture Week 2016 is expected to be held for the first time from 29 April to 2 May in Lai Chau City, Sin Suoi Ho Village (Sin Suoi Ho Commune, Phong Tho District) and Sin Ho Plateau.
Lai Chau Tourism – Culture Week 2016 aims at promoting Lai Chau tourism and boosting tourism linkage with Lao Cai and Dien Bien to maximize the tourism potentials. This is also an opportunity to introduce local cultural values, natural landscape and lure more tourists and investors to Lai Chau.
In the framework of Lai Chau Tourism – Culture Week 2016, many typical activities will take place such as ethnic colorful street festival, performance of Tu Cai Festival of Dao ethnic people, crop praying festival (Cau mua) of Giay ethnic people, wedding ceremony of Dao Khau ethnic people, betrothal ceremony of Mang ethnic group, music festival in Pusamcap Cave; especially, promotion of such attractive tourism destination as Pusamcap Cave, San Thang Tourism Village, Gia Khau Village, Sin Suoi Ho community-based tourism village…
In addition, visitors also can enjoy Food and Culture Festival in Sin Suoi Ho Village, taking photos in majestic Sin Ho Plateau, campfire, cultural exchange with locals…
This is also an opportunity for tour operators to expand tourism market in Lai Chau and develop Lai Chau into one of the attractive destinations of the Northwest region.
