Seminar on Responsible Tourism launched

The Project Implementing Unit of the Environmentally and Socially Responsible Tourism Capacity Development Progam (ESRT) organised a “responsible tourism” seminar on May 13th at the Flamingo Dai Lai Resort in Vinh Phuc Province, with the participation of various specialists, tourism managers and reporters.

The focus of the seminar was on developing the economy and tourism in line with environmental protection, promoting local cultural values, diversifying high-quality tourism products, and enhancing cultural and moral values. Other core activities of the ESRT program included introducing the Responsible Tourism Toolkit for Viet Nam, exploring responsible tourism from the press’s point of view, and discussing the implementation of responsible tourism, including typical examples.
