A photo exhibition and film week titled ‘Viet Nam - Rendezvous of the World’ is scheduled to take place in the Slovakian capital of Bratislava from June 20-26, according to the Ministry of Information and Communications.
This is the largest Vietnamese culture promotional event ever organised in Slovakia, helping to strengthen the traditional friendship and multi-faceted co-operation between the two countries.
It is jointly held by the Centre for Press and International Communication Co-operation and the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia.
The event will feature 300 photos and more than 100 documentaries on various themes, including Viet Nam-Slovakia relations, Viet Nam’s integration and development, marine tourism in Viet Nam, and the beauty of Viet Nam’s sea, islands, country and people.
Visitors will also have an opportunity to learn about other aspects of Viet Nam such as cultural heritage, food, trade villages, festivals and history.
After the event finishes, all the photos and films will be transferred to the Vietnamese Embassy so that similar events can be held in other cities in Slovakia.
