Saigon Railways launches new service to Tuy Hoa City

With the new railway service, visitors from HCM City will stay overnight on the train and arrive at Tuy Hoa in the morning.

The new train SNT6/SNT9 connecting between HCM City and Tuy Hoa City is operated by Saigon Railways. Inaugurated on Jul 19, the new train route is expected to contribute to the promotion of Phu Yen Province’s tourism. Tourists from HCM City to the land of yellow flowers and green grass, another name of Phu Yen as the Vietnamese movie, named "I see yellow flowers on the green grass" was filmed here and captured the magnificent beauty of the province, now have another travelling option.

 

Tuy Hoa is the capital city of Phu Yen, a coastal province in the south central coast of Viet Nam. Major tourist attractions in Phu Yen include O Loan Lagoon, Song Cau coconut ranges, Da Bi and Nhan mountains, Ro Bay, Xep Beach and Long Thuy Beach. 

 

It will take from 12 to 15 hours to travel between the two cities. The new train will depart at 9:25pm in Sai Gon Railway Station and 5:25pm in Tuy Hoa Railway Station.

 

The train SNT9 calls at 7 stations, including Sai Gon, Bien Hoa, Binh Thuan, Thap Cham, Nha Trang, Ninh Hoa, and Tuy Hoa, while SNT6 also stops at Ca Na Railway Station in Ninh Thuan.

 

One one-way ticket from HCM City to Tuy Hoa City ranges from VND253,000 to VND907,000, depending on the seating types. From Jul 20 to 26, a promotion program with the 10% discount will be applied on tickets from Tuy Hoa, Ninh Hoa and Nha Trang Railway Stations to Bien Hoa and Sai Gon Railway Stations.

 

Also since Jul 20, Saigon Railways has also suspended the SNT3 train between Nha Trang and HCM City.
