VNAT to promote Viet Nam tourism in Australia

(TITC) - Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) planned to organize roadshows to promote Vietnam tourism in Sydney and Melbourne cities, Australia from 4 to 9 September 2016.

 

The roadshows aim to promote Viet Nam’s tourism potential and tourism products to Australian public; provide opportunity for Vietnamese tourism enterprises to seek cooperation with Australian travel agencies, research demand of Australian tourists.

 

In the framework of the program, VNAT will held such activities as introducing policies, new tourism products and services suitable for Australian market; B2B meeting between businesses of the two sides; traditional music performances…

 

Being a developed country, Australia boasts the world's 12th largest economy and population of 23.1 million people (2014). Australia has a diverse culture thanks to the historical immigration. Australians love to travel and usually choose destinations in Asia - Pacific. In 2015, Viet Nam welcomed 303,721 Australian tourist  arrivals. In 7 months of 2016, this number reached 195,711 arrivals, up 6.6% over the same period last year.
