According to the initial statistics, in the Xuan Son National Park is living 726 kinds of high-level plants, mainly including cinnamon, walnut, oak and magnolia. Particularly, Xuan Son National Park is a big store of native breed and medicinal plants, especially bitter vegetable growing naturally.
In the Xuan Son National Park, there are also 365 kinds of animals like gibbon, civet, squirrel, panther, bear, pheasant, grey peacock pheasant, eagle, etc., of which 46 kinds are classified in Red Book Vietnam and 18 kinds are classified in the World Red Book.
Xuan Son National Park also possesses impressive landscape, including 3 mountains that are over 1,000 meters high, namely Voi Mountain, Ten Mountain and Can Mountain; hundreds of caverns and caves covered by waterfalls flowing from the height of over 50 meters; rivers and streams like Lap stream, Thang stream.
The Xuan Son National Park has 16 limestone caverns, of which the longest is Lang cavern that is over 6,000 meters long. The Lang cavern is very wide and cool and can contain hundreds of people.
There are nearly 30,000 people living in Xuan Son. They come from ethnic minority groups such as Muong, Dao. Due to difficulties in transportation, ethnic minority groups here still maintain their primitive and distinct characteristics and traditionally cultural lifestyle.
A day in Xuan Son witnesses 4 seasons of the year. In the morning, it is very cool and fresh like in the spring. At mid-day, the weather is hot like in the summer. In the afternoon, the wind puffs lightly like in the autumn. In the evening, it is a bit cold like in the winter. Xuan Son is recommended as an interesting destination for tourists both inside and outside Vietnam.
