Viet Nam joins Pollutec 2016 in Lyon, France

(TITC) - 27th International Exhibition of Environmental Equipment Technologies and Services (Pollutec 2016) was organized in Lyon, France from November 29 to December 2. Pollutec is a well-known biennial exhibition in the environment and sustainable development sector.

Spreading over 100,000m2, the exhibition included 2,400 pavilions of nearly 40 countries and teritories. With the show of 200 brand new technologies, 400 conferences, Pollute 2016 welcomed nearly 65 thousand visitors, including 20% non-French ones.
With its slogan “Sustainable development - platform for prosperity of Viet Nam”, the Vietnamese stand at Pollutec 2016 focused on the theme of sustainable development of urban, industry, agriculture and coastal region in the context of climate change. Viet Nam introduced its policies in environment protection and sustainable development to deal with climate change and towards sustainable city and industry development, coastal area management.
In addition, Viet Nam also showed ecological, recycled and environment-friendly products; technological models; projects calling investors in the terms of waste treatment, environment protection, climate change adaptation; technical solutions, scientific and technological initiatives in environment field.
