Luong Spring and the area’s natural beauty are the major attractions of Suoi Luong Ecological Resort.
It is situated in a mountainous forest area, covering more than six hectares in Hoa Hiep Ward of Da Nang City’s Lien Chieu District, 15 kilometers north of the city center and about one kilometer south of Hai Van Tunnel.
Guests will experience a sense of harmony with nature complete with the babbling spring, song birds and howling gibbons. Cool off in the pure water of Luong Spring or just relax on the big rocks by the creek.
Developed by Danatol Joint Stock Company, the resort features houses built in the style of the northern, central and southern regions, such as stilt houses of Bana, K’Tu and Dao ethnic minority groups. At the entrance stand statues of a Lac bird (Vietnam’s mythical bird) and Au Co, Vietnam’s legendary mother figure with her 100 eggs.
Guests can also see the wood carvings on ancient Quang Nam- or Hue- style houses or go sightseeing or shopping. Nguyet Dinh Guest House is a great place to watch the moon, drink wine and recite poems or listen to music.
When it’s time to eat, the central restaurant, built with Cham architecture and decorated with Cham household objects, will satisfy any appetite. The dish to try is com lam (rice cooked in bamboo) which is accompanied with duck meat or pork.
Well-furnished villas with different room rates are also available.
For visitors to Hoi An Ancient Town or Da Nang City, Suoi Luong Ecological Tourist Resort is a sanctuary to rest and take it easy.
