The project, worth 230 billion VND (over 10 million USD), was invested by Renewable Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company.
The plant will cover 2.4 hectares and has a designed capacity of 26,000 cubic meters of water per day. It will use the advanced technology of the US.
The project is carried out in two phases. The first phase with a capacity of 13,000 cubic meters of water is scheduled for completion in 2017, while the second phrase will be done within two years (2018-2019).
The plant will recycle treated wastewater discharged from the industrial park’s wastewater treatment plant and then provide for production of factories in the Tam Thang industrial park, helping to control the water environment as well as reduce production costs.
Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Van Thanh said the project is also hoped to raise awareness of saving clean water among workers and local people.
