Planning ecotourism development in Xuan Thuy National Park

A workshop to strengthen the local capacity of ecotourism planning and development in Giao Xuan commune was held on September 14-16, 2006.
Coorganised by the Centre for Marinelife Conservation and Community Development (MCD) and local authorities, the three-day workshop also involved training in business operations and field trips to Xuan Thuy.
The workshop involved more than 44 participants from local associations and agencies, the Xuan Thuy National Park Management Board, Bai Tu Long National Park, Trao Reef Marine Reserve and tourist companies.
It is part of the MCD project "Community participation in the ecotourism development in Giao Xuan Commune, the buffer zone of Xuan Thuy National Park, Nam Dinh province".
