Tourism travels and businesses in Quang Nam province are trying to bring attractive experiences of Quang Nam land, culture, history and people to visitors on the occasion of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in November 2017.

Quang Nam owns famous sites, especially two World Cultural Heritages of Hoi An and My Son. On the sidelines of APEC Finance Ministerial Meeting 2017 in Hoi An city and the APEC Economic leaders’ Week from 19-21 October, Quang Nam is preparing some special tours for representatives, APEC leaders’ wives or husbands, foreign reporters. There are the tours of Hoi An heritage, My Son heritage, craft villages, waterways, Cham Islands, mountainous and southern regions.
According to Deputy Director of the Quang Nam provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Ngoc Tuong, these tours are travel businesses’ specific and strong points. They aim to improve the prestige of Quang Nam tourism and confirm the businesses’ trade name. So, the tour quality is very important. Meanwhile, according to Director of Hoa Hong travel agency Pham Vu Dung, APEC is a great chance for tourism business’ marketing to the world.
Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Tourism Association Phan Xuan Thanh said the province was ready for building tours, organizing, receiving visitors. 2017 APEC is considered as a great chance to connect businesses to build the best Quang Nam tourism image. Therefore, the businesses must try their best to upgrade their trade name. Besides, the province also prepares well for the event such as building the Vietnam-Japan friendship cultural space in Hoi An city, the infrastructure, and accommodation for 500 guests.
