Hanoi’s culture has been the main inspiration for tour operators to develop services to lure more visitors to the capital city, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.
“Hop on Hop off” bus service designed by Hanoitourist travel company aims to offer tourists a new and more convenient way to explore Hanoi’s tourist attractions. The bus route connects the Literature of Temple and the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum with other renowned sites around the capital like Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Hoa Lo Prison, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Quan Thanh Temple, West Lake, Thang Long Royal Citadel and the Hanoi Opera House.
Foreign visitors are impressed with Vietnamtourism Hanoi’s free walking tour to discover the beauty of the Hanoi Old Quarter and Thang Long craft village.
Meanwhile, Vietravel Hanoi Company launched five free walking tours for foreign tourists and Vietnamese outside Hanoi to explore local morning routine, the West Lake area, northern folk art and weekend activities.
Joining APT Travel Company’s tour “Hanoi Feelings”, tourists will have a chance to experience the capital’s tangible and intangible values like religious works; ancient houses, streets and villages; traditional arts and quintessence of Hanoi’s cuisine.

Preservation of traditional craft villages like Bat Trang pottery village and Van Phuc silk village will be made in companion with tourism development.
