The carriages were built using high-quality materials and advanced technology to ensure they are more stable, sound-proof, and fire-proof, with their waste treatment system meeting hygienic standards.
Along with the traditional 4-bed and 6-bed cabins, each of the new overnight carriages now come with a couple of VIP 2-bed cabins. The VIP cabins have larger and more comfy beds, and passengers choosing this service can enjoy free beverages and meals.
From July 9, the new carriages will be part of the five-star SE1 and SE2 trains operating on the Hanoi-Da Nang route, said a VNR representative.
To date, the VNR have built and put into use 60 carriages of this type. -VNA
