Last Saturday, a discussion about ways to enhance the service quality in the hospitality sector took place in Da Nang.

Organised by the Da Nang Hospitality Association, the event was attended by a large number of domestic and foreign experts and consultants who are involved in hotel and financial management, marketing activities, and technological applications.
According to a report released by the Association, Da Nang has seen a sharp increase in the number of accommodation establishments over recent years.
In 2011 alone, the city was home to only 260 accommodation establishments with 8,736 guest rooms. Last year, the number of establishments and rooms rose to a total of 693 and 28,780 respectively.
Over the 2018 - 2020 period, the figures are expected to rise dramatically with the average annual growing numbers of 86 establishments and 6,000 rooms.
Notably, recent years have seen a boom in the number of condotels in the city, which has diversified types of accommodations in the locality.
In attempt to satisfy the increasing demand of both domestic and foreign visitors, local accommodation providers are required to enhance their service quality in order to promote their sustainable development in the future.
The focus will be on updating advanced hotel management software, enhancing the quality of their services, and providing more new and special products for their customers.
