Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Sunday inspected the International Media Center (IMC) for the second DPRK-USA Summit and came to headquarters of each of three key ministries to check their preparatory works.
On Sunday morning, the Government chief toured the IMC and gave concrete instructions at the working session with relevant ministries and agencies.

In the afternoon, Phuc came to headquarters of the Government Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security to check their preparatory works.

At the Government Office, he stressed that the summit is the top political and diplomatic event of Viet Nam in 2019, thus all cadres of the relevant ministries, agencies and locality must ensure high quality of services.
Phuc urged the Government Office to review every aspect of preparatory works to ensure absolute security and safety and no careless acts are allowed to occur.

At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the PM welcomed and highly valued the ministry's preparations. The Ministry is assigned to function as coordinator of relevant stakesholders in preparing for the Summit.
All the ministries' departments and staffs are mobilized to ensure smooth information exchanges, meet requirements from the relevant sides, including requests related to protocol and communication.
At the Ministry of Public Security, Phuc also checked the security control center for the DPRK-USA Summit.
Latter the same day, the Government chief returned to the IMC to recheck what he had delegated to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ha Noi authorities in the morning.
He tasked the local authorities to continue beautifying the IMC to make it more impressive while the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to take this opportunities to step up popularization of the country's tourism potential./.
