Air taxi flights between Da Nang and Hue to be launched

Update: 19/04/2019
Hai Au Aviation will launch air taxi flights from Da Nang to Hue and vice versa by seaplane from April 25th, reported To Quoc News.

The flights, lasting 40 minutes, will offer opportunities to see famous sights of Da Nang and Hue at a height of 300m such as Hai Van pass, Son Tra peninsula, Han river, Cu Lao Cham island, Golden bridge on Ba Na peak, Huong river, Ngu mountain, Hue citadel and Tam Giang lagoon.

The seaplane providing service for this journey is a Cessna Grand Caravan 208B-EX, one of the industry’s safest, most powerful single-engine airplanes.

Light, fast, and comfortable, the American single-engined turboprop, fixed-tricycle landing gear, short-haul regional airliner and utility aircraft is fitted for a maximum of just 12 passengers, ensuring everyone enjoys superb views in roomy comfort.

The air service is a wonderful replacement for road vehicles. It not only meets the travel demand of local people and tourists, but also contributes to boosting tourism development for Da Nang and Hue in particular, but also the central region in general.

Da Nang and Hue have long been iconic destinations along Vietnam’s central coast.

Separated by the Truong Son mountain range, Da Nang is known more for its relatively recent past, first as a 19th century port city and then a 20th century rest and relaxation destinations.

Meanwhile, Hue enjoys a long and royal history, once the ancient capital of imperial Vietnam and home to fabulous temples and tombs./.
