Workshop on ASEAN Green Hotel Standards Application Solutions

On Sep. 10, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh Department of Tourism held a workshop on ASEAN Green Hotel Standards Application Solutions with the participation of the National Tourism Administration’s leaders and nearly 500 experts, researchers as well as leaders of organizations, enterprises and localities provincewide.

At the workshop, delegates not only discussed about solutions to promote green growth in tourism, the current state and measures to apply ASEAN green hotel standards in Quang Ninh but also shared experiences in environmental management and sustainable tourism development orientations in some localities.
The workshop is a forum for experts, managers, and businesses to propose solutions to strengthen the application of ASEAN green hotel standards in Quang Ninh; thereby intensifying measures to boost tourism development into a key economic sector, in association with preserving and promoting the values of natural resources and protecting the environment.
