Domestic Tourism Forum 2021 will talks about tourism recovery

The press conference on the Domestic Tourism Forum 2021 and VITM Hanoi 2021 was organized on April 5, under the chair of VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu, Standing Vice Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh and Director of Ninh Binh’s Department of Tourism Bui Van Manh.

Speaking at the press conference, Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu said that domestic tourism will remain the main market of Viet Nam in 2021 and 2022, focusing on enhancing safe tourism knowledge and building recovery plan in new situation. He emphasized that Vietnam tourism needs to be promoted, especially domestic tourism as soon as Covid-19 pandemic is controlled.

Domestic Tourism Forum 2021 will last from 14 - 15 April

The event will be held by Vietnam Tourism Association, Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Ninh Binh’s Department of Tourism and Ninh Binh Tourism Promotion Information Center. There will be 400 – 500 delegates from government agencies, tourism associations, leading tourism enterprises and media agencies.

The forum will focus on the main topics: Analyzing the importance of domestic tourism; Domestic tourism development in Vietnam and the region; The essentials for domestic tourism development; case study of developing domestic tourism in some localities; Proposing solutions to develop domestic tourism; Combining international tourism and domestic tourism.

Beside the forum, organizing committee also will arrange a field trip for delegates and press agencies to survey new tourism products in Ninh Binh on April 15.

9th VITM Hanoi  2021 (5-8 May): New normal – New opportunities

The international travel mart will be held at Hanoi International Center for Exhibition – 91 Tran Hung Dao Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.

The mart is expected to have 350 stalls, with 450 registered units from 40 provinces and cities nationwide; 4 international representatives from markets of Thailand, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan (representative offices in Vietnam); tourism management agencies, tourism associations, travel businesses, hotels and resort, airlines, and Vietravel Airlines.

During 4 days of the mart, there will be many activities such as ceremony honoring excellent businesses and individuals of the Vietnam Tourism Association in 2020 (VITA Awards); MICE Club launching ceremony; Workshop on Human Resource for Tourism in Vietnam in a new normal context; Workshop on Golf Tourism; activities on digital transformation in the tourism industry; Performing international and Vietnamese traditional arts. A new program of caravan tourism will be launched by the Hanoi Travel Association.
