On August 17th and 18th, in Hai Phong city, the training course with the theme ‘Think green - Buy Clean’ was organized by place going training on the theme "Think Green - Buy Clean" by the Centre for Development of Community Initiative and Environment (C & E) with the support of the project ‘Enhance the capacity of mainstreaming sustainable development and climate change into planning in activities Vietnam".
Joining the training course, 40 Union members in the age of 18-25 could approach the concepts and manner to practice ‘green shopping’ in Vietnam and in the world. The training has helped young consumers recognize the role of green shopping, restore the traditional character and eliminate excessive shopping habits having negative influences on the environment and society.
Besides, the young were guided to build and strengthen planning skills, implementing skills of plans and action programs for the environmental events. They also had the opportunity to visit the local typical pattern of sustainable production, watch the film "Waste land" about green lifestyle and participate in Workshop Confession - sharing thoughts.
