Pristine beauty of Hon Kho Island

Hon Kho Island has gradually won the hearts of many tourists coming to Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh province thanks to its wild beauty, clear blue sea and beautiful sandy beaches.

Hon Kho Island is situated in Nhon Hai commune, Quy Nhon city, near the shore of Binh Dinh province, about 20km off the city center. From the downtown, tourists can rent a motorbike or take a taxi or a bus to reach the island.

In recent years, Hon Kho Island has emerged as an ideal place to see colorful coral reefs. The natural and untouched beauty of the island has drawn a large number of tourists at home and abroad.

Coming to Hon Kho Island, visitors can experience swimming, snorkeling, and admiring crystal clear water at a cost of VND 10,000 per person.

Visitors also have a chance to enjoy the white sand stretch of the amazing island and eat fresh seafood on floating rafts in the middle of the sea.

Visitors can hire a canoe or fishing boat for VND 80,000 to VND 200,000 per person to the island, which takes about five minutes from the mainland.

A visitor from Ho Chi Minh City shares that the sea water is clear and local people are very hospitable.

Along with watching coral reefs, tourists also have a chance to admire deep-sea creatures, such as fishes, starfishes, snails, and others.

Behind these children from Nhon Hai fishing village is Hon Kho Island. Hon Kho is an island where tourists find a limited number or even no sign of trees. Therefore, tourists should fully prepare hats and sunscreen to protect their skin.

The best time to visit Hon Kho is from March to September every year.
