Colourful art road in Quang Nam

An art road, with a total length of 1.5 kilometres, is displaying 111 painting works on boats at Tam Thanh commune, Quang Nam province. The works are part of the community-based ecotourism development project held by Tam Ky city’s People’s Committee and teachers of the Singapore Technology and Design University.

The works have taken inspiration from daily life in the fishing village.
The boats were gathered by local fishermen who also joined in the painting of natural landscapes and daily life activities of local people.
The boats are displayed along a road leading to the commune which is expected to become a new tourist attraction in the area.
The works used watercolours to depict locals on fishing trips, weaving nets, making bamboo baskets…
