Launching the Vietnam Sea and Islands week and organizing activities to respond to the World Ocean Day 2018

In the morning of June 1, in Ben Do area (Cam Pha city), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province, High Command of Border Guard,High Command of Navy, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a launching ceremony for the Vietnam Sea and Islands week and organized activities to respond to the World Ocean Day 2018.

Sea and Island Week launched in Quang Ninh province

The Vietnam Sea and Island Week was launched in the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the local People’s Committee on May 31.

On 4th June, 2018, twenty-two embassies and international organisations will mark World Environment Day by signing a Code of Conduct on Combatting Plastic Pollution at L’Espace, 24 Trang Tien at 9:00am.

Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2018: Keep Ocean Blue

Under the theme "Keep Ocean Blue" - the 10th ceremony on the occasion of the World Ocean Day and Vietnam Sea and Islands Week 2018 will be taken place in Quang Ninh province. This is an annual social and political event having great meaning, as a call to remind every Vietnamese on protection of the sovereignty of the sea and islands, protection of environment and marine natural resources.

Launching campaign for environmental protection in tourism

(TITC)- On 18th May, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST) coordinated with the People's Committee of Nghe An Province and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union launched a campaign to protect the environment in tourism at Binh Minh Square, Cua Lo Town, Nghe An Province.
