In the article of CNBC, Phu Quoc Island is lesser known than other Southeast Asian islands, that the one reason travelers are attracted to it. The island is home of white-sand beaches, night markets, a UNESCO recognized biosphere reserve, and one of the world's longest cable cars, which links to the nearby island of Hon Thom (Pineapple Island).
Phu Quoc is known as the largest island in Vietnam. Phu Quoc is scheduled to reopen for vaccinated international visitors in late 2021. These visitors come from markets with high tourism potentials and pandemic safety and arrive via charter flights.
