(TITC) – The tourism expo themed "Taking off Ba Ria - Vung Tau 2021" kicked off on December 23. It shows the province’s efforts to revive its tourism sector in the “new normal" and promote the province’s tourism products and services.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the expo, Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism appreciated the initiative of Ba Ria - Vung Tau in organizing the online tourism expo. He emphasized that the event is a very meaningful activity in the context that the tourism industry is making efforts to recover, and also shows the imprint of technology application. This is a practical playground for tourism service businesses based on the application of modern technology, a good opportunity for all businesses to connect, introducing products and services, performing e-commerce transactions, increasing revenue.
The tourism expo will last to February 1, 2022 on the e-commerce portal for tourism at www.dulichbariavungtau.com. Accordingly, customers have the opportunity to buy thousands of preferential tours with discounts up to 50%, many hotels and homestay deals in Ba Ria – Vung Tau, giving up to 30% off.
