Art programme promotes Vietnamese culture to the world

The art programme entitled “The Eternal Flow” was held within the framework of the World Expo 2020 Dubai, contributing to bring Vietnamese culture closer to the world, especially amidst the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, over the past two years.

The programme featured diverse performances, from quan ho (love duet) melodies, brocade patterns, gongs and stall dances, to traditional musical instruments such as dan bau (Vietnamese traditional monochord), t’rung (bamboo xylophone), flute, ty ba (plucked string instrument), dan tranh (Vietnamese 16-string zither) and drums. They introduced visitors to the unique cultural and artistic identities of Vietnam.

According to Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong, this was an overseas art programme featuring the highest number of Vietnamese actors, actresses and artists.

The image of the national flag appeared on the world's largest dome, which brought many emotions to the audience, especially Overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese people who were present at Al Wasl Plaza, Dubai.
