(TITC) - On March 26, in Ha Noi, there was a ceremony to announce the project "Tourism and Trade Promotion in Digital Transformation" and introduce the plan to publish the photo book "Journey to promote Vietnam tourism – Ao Dai and Cultural heritage sites”. Mr. Pham Van Thuy, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) attended the event.

The project is jointly implemented by the Information and Development Magazine (Vietnam Science and Technology Information Association) and the Sports and Tourism Publishing House (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).
According to information from the organizers, the project is implemented with the following contents: Promote Vietnam tourism with Ao Dai at cultural heritage sites; Publish the photo book “Journey to promote Vietnam tourism – Ao Dai and Cultural heritage sites”; Publish tourism and cultural heritage videos broadcasting on channel VTV6; Build "virtual" rooms of landscapes; Organize seminars and workshops in provinces, cities on digital transformation for enterprises.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thuy emphasized that today's event along with the opening of Visit Vietnam Year 2022 are great significance and timeliness in the context that Vietnam has just recently reopening tourism activities under new normal from March 15, 2022.

Digital transformation is an urgent and inevitable requirement for global tourism, including Vietnam. The advent of technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), internet of things (IoT), blockchain, bigdata, 3D technology, 360 degrees, and virtual reality have had a profound influence to all aspects of socio-economic life, culture, art, and tourism is no exception.
The development of technology has changed the behavior of tourists from searching for information, booking services, experiencing at the destination as well as sharing feelings and memories of the trip, most of which take place in the digital environment.
He believes that the project "Tourism and Trade Promotion in Digital Transformation" will contribute to promoting Vietnam tourism and visitors have new experiences about the destination and the cultural heritage sites of Vietnam.
Regarding trade promotion in digital transformation, a number of solutions were also introduced at the ceremony.
