A tourism festival themed ‘Hanoi – Come to Love’ will take place in the capital from May 13-15, introducing to visitors new, impressive tourism products, said organisers at a press briefing on May 6.
The double decker bus service has attracted visitors wishing to discover major tourism destinations in the city.
Nearly 100 businesses have registered to showcase products at 150 booths around the King Ly Thai To botanic garden and along Dinh Tien Hoang street. Among them are Hanoitourist Corporation, Thu do Tourism Club, Vietravel and Vietnam Airlines.
According to Vu Anh Duong, director of the Hanoi Centre for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, the festival will introduce stimulus products of tourist resorts, tourist attractions, and travel businesses in the city as well as the whole country. It will also feature art performances, games, handicraft village products and tourist cuisine.
In addition to Hanoi, nine other localities that boast tourism development potential will also showcase their products at the event. They are Yen Bai, An Giang, Khanh Hoa, Quang Nam, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Binh, Ha Giang, Lai Chau, and Phu Tho.
Visitors to the festival will have the chance to book cheap tours or get cheap airfares on offer. Travel businesses will announce a number of new tours of Hanoi such as a tour to discover Bat Trang ceramic making village, or a night tour to decode the Thang Long Imperial Citadel.
The 2022 Hanoi Tourism Festival that coincides with the 31st SEA Games is a golden opportunity to introduce Hanoi’s tourist destination and attractive tourism products and services to friends from other countries. It will serve as a forum for travel businesses to connect and develop markets, expand joint ventures, and associate their products with inter-regional products.
