VNAT’s Vice Chairman Nguyen Le Phuc stated that digital transformation is considered as one of the key tasks of Vietnam's tourism industry. In which, increasing technology application and developing new products to serve tourists is an important orientation, especially in the context of increasingly popular "no-touch" tourism. Mr. Nguyen Le Phuc believes that with new thinking and new technology products, the Centre of Science and Culture Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam will improve efficiency in management as well as in welcoming and serving visitors coming to explore a typical cultural and historical site of Ha Noi Capital.
Electronic ticket system: A new adopted technology and direction for attractions
From 13th May, the Temple of Literature – Quoc Tu Giam (Ha Noi) has applied the electronic ticket system. The outstanding advantage of the e-ticket system is the easy for visitors to buy tickets online. When coming to the Temple of Literature, simply scan the QR code to get access. Additionally, by using the e-ticket system, visitors can easily book tickets online, look up purchase history, use history, look up invoices and ticket storage in many flexible forms, avoiding the loss of tickets.

Particularly, for attractions such as the Temple of Literature, which often welcomes large tourist groups, the e-ticket system allows the whole group to just buy 1 ticket and scan the QR code for the whole group to enter, instead of buying for each person like the traditional method. It is clear that the application of modern technology has, somehow, changed visitors behaviours completely, bringing maximum convenience to visitors, while minimising ticket printing, and being more environmentally friendly.
For the management board of the relic, the e-ticket system acts as a supporting tool to improve the management of entrance tickets in an accordance and transparent manner, with tools to monitor and manage the operation of the relic site in an easier way.

Visitors who install and use the Vietnam Safe Travel application will be supported to search for information about tourism services, and send feedback to authorities on service quality, tour management, and many utilities from booking air tickets, hotel rooms, making electronic payments, etc.
