(TITC) - Since fully opening tourism from 15th March 2022, the number of international visitors to Vietnam has been increasing every month. In addition to the large number of international visitors arriving by air, there are also a number of tourists arriving by water.
Earlier this month, Saigontourist Travel Service Company, (Saigontourist) has served an Australian tourist group going on a river cruise itinerary (Indochine 2 River Cruise). The 9-day 8-night trip follows the river cruise from Ho Chi Minh City to My Tho - Cai Be - Vinh Long - Sa Dec - Chau Doc and connects to Cambodia.
Australian tourist group arrived in Ho Chi Minh City and had a city tour
This is the first international tourist group to Vietnam via river cruise since the beginning of 2020. The Indochine 2 Cruise respectively docked at Saigon port (18 July) and continued to My Tho (19 July), Vinh Long (20 July), Sa Dec, Tan Chau (21 July) and arrived in Cambodia on 22 July via Vinh Xuong border gate.
Accordingly, Saigontourist welcomed the group on 18th July and started the tour in Ho Chi Minh City by visiting the Cu Chi Tunnels. On 19th July, the group officially went on the river cruise itinerary by cruising along the Mekong River and visiting outstanding destinations, experiencing floating markets and getting to know the lives of locals.
