Update: 25/08/2022
(TITC) - Asia countries have a bottomless culinary talent and passion for food. It obviously has great variety and flavour, partially because Asia region is a vast area, sprawls across equatorial tropics and mountain ranges, volcanic islands and frenetic megacities, identified CNN’s editor Kate Springer. She had written a list of 50 wonderful street foods in Asia in alphabetical order for food lovers around the world, including 3 famous dishes of Vietnam.

Banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich)

The king of sandwiches brings together several cultural traditions all in one crispy bun, namely a golden French baguette (introduced to Vietnam by the French in the late 19th century). Although France is the origin of baguette, Vietnam is a famous country for this yellow, crispy creation.

Springer stated, the ingredients made of Banh mi will vary from north to south and east to west, yet keep the basic combination of pork pâté, pickled vegetables, coriander, chilli and hams.

Pho (noodle soup)

Not so fancy with a dry dish to start the day? Why not go for a bowl of Pho? This dish is no longer a “stranger” for global friends and becomes one of the signature dishes of Vietnam, Ha Noi particularly. The long stand history of Vietnam somehow shines through the rich flavour of broth, an artistic combination of herbs, rice noodles, and broth, creating a bowl of pure magic. Visitors should try both chicken and beef Pho to have a deeper sight to its flavour.

Iced coffee

Coffee comes next as an indispensable drink for many locals for a perfect morning. The most favourite coffee of Hanoians would be iced coffee served by street vendors. Coffee was brewed in a traditional filter, dripping into a single cup underneath for a thick, intense brew that is sipped black, then enjoyed solo or with sweetened condensed milk.
