The Heritage connection Festival to be organised in Ninh Binh

(TITC) - " Trang An Festival Connecting heritage - Ninh Binh in 2022" with the theme "Hoa Lu resounds for a thousand years" will be held in Ninh Binh City (Ninh Binh Province) from 17th - 19th November 2022.

Attending the Festival are 15 provinces and cities including Ha Noi, Hai Phong City, Ha Nam Province, Nam Dinh Province, Thanh Hoa Province, Nghe An Province, Ha Tinh Province, Thua Thien Hue Province, Gia Lai Province, Dak Lak Province, Ho Chi Minh City, Ben Tre, Bac Lieu Province, Ca Mau Province and Ninh Binh Province.

"Trang An Festival connecting heritage - Ninh Binh in 2022" includes 5 unique activities.

The Opening ceremony will take place at 8pm on 17th November 2022 in Dinh Tien Hoang De Square, Ninh Binh City. It is an art performance introducing and honouring the cultural heritage values of Ninh Binh Province and other domestic and international provinces and cities participating in the Festival. As per schedule, the ceremony will be live on Vietnam Television (VTV), Ninh Binh Radio and Television Station and a number of radio and television stations in provinces and cities.

The exhibition of traditional cultural and historical heritage will take place from 17th - 19th November 2022 at the Ninh Binh Provincial Gymnasium. The provinces and cities participating in the Festival will display typical cultural models, symbols, images, documents, artefacts and products introducing history, tangible and intangible cultural heritage properties at local exhibition booths, forming an overall space of typical cultural heritage, history and tradition of the whole country.

The heritage of the land and the people of the ancient capital will be connected with the heritage sites to promote culture and attract tourists

Moreover, the Carnival will be held from 7pm on 18th November 2022. Typical local traditional arts of attendee countries and Miss Beauties will be performed during this event in the Dinh Tien Hoang Street and Dinh Tien Hoang De Square.

Music Festival of cultural heritage and modern sound will also take place in the framework of the Festival, at 8.30pm on 18th November 2022 at the Dinh Tien Hoang De Square. The show is based on the content of the traditional heritage, created and performed with a modern and vibrant form and rhythm, which will surely create a new taste for the traditional heritage in the young space.

The Closing ceremony of the Festival will take place at 8pm on 19th November 2022 in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Ninh Binh City will focus on honouring, introducing and showing gratitude, opening the connection of the heritage from Trang An - Ninh Binh to provinces and cities in Vietnam and in the world, a farewell and look forward to the next Festival.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Cuong - Director of Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports said, the participation of the art troupe of Oudomxay Province - Laos and the presence of more than 70 Miss Beauties representing more than 70 countries/territories in the world who have participated in Miss World Tourism will perform in the opening ceremony and the Carnival of the Festival, which make the event becoming a spotlight. Local people and visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the unique art of many Vietnamese and international art troupes and Miss Beauties bearing the imprints of many different cultures around the world.

 Trang An Festival connecting heritage - Ninh Binh in 2022" is an important cultural and tourist event to promote cultural exchange activities and honour cultural heritage sites, promote tourism among provinces and cities in Vietnam and in the world. Simultaneously, it is a practical activity in response to Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (23rd November). Organising this festival is to promote the image of cultural heritage, people of Ninh Binh Province in particular and other provinces and cities in the country, and international localities participating in the Festival in general.
