58 million USD for environment project in Quy Nhon

Quy Nhon city in the central province of Binh Dinh is implementing an environmental sanitation project worth almost USD 58 million, with nearly USD 46 million coming from the ODA capital.
The project, carried out from 2007 to 2014, involves six components, including the construction of a drainage system, a waste collection system and 3 wastewater treatment plants.

As part of the project, a 30-ha solid waste management area and a resettlement area will be built.


The eight-year project also aims to promote hygienic practices in families and schools.
