International visitors to Vietnam up 23.2% in November

(TITC) – According to General Statistics Office (GSO), in November 2022, Vietnam welcomed 569.9 thousand international arrivals, increased 23.2% compare to last month.

Europe (+48.2%) led the growth of international tourism in this month. In which, those from France increased 73.2%; Russia (+55.5%); England (+37.7%); Germany (+36.8%). America saw growth of 22% and Asia 20%.

In 11 months of 2022, an estimated 2.95 million international arrivals travelled to Vietnam including 763.9 thousand Korean visitor arrivals, equivalent to 26% and 266.1 thousand American visitor arrivals, accounting for 9%.

In the top tourist source markets of Vietnam, Southeast Asia includes Cambodia (172.5 thousand arrivals, ranked 3rd), Thailand (153.5 thousand, 4th), Singapore (134.5 thousand, 6th) and Malaysia (129.2 thousand, 7th).

By region, Asia accounted for 70.3% of total the number of international visitor arrivals to Vietnam in Jan-Nov, Europe (11.1%), America (10.9%), Oceania (4.4%) and Africa (0.01%).
