The "Thang Long Imperial Night" Tour has duration of 120 minutes, visitors will experience a shimmering Royal Palace at night from architecture, art to archaeological relics. Visitors dressing in ancient costumes, participate in a journey to experience heartfelt emotions from Doan Mon Gate, watch water puppetry and land puppetry with the content telling the story of Thang Long, discover the uniqueness of the royal antiques, and visit Kinh Thien Palace.

During the night tour, visitors will also be led to archaeological site (18 Hoang Dieu Street) to learn the historical flow of 13 centuries vividly, such as: Explore the ancient brick wall, the ancient river, the ancient wells from the Ly, Tran, and Le dynasties that are still full of water… Here, visitors can experience drawing water from an ancient well in the Tran Dynasty. At the end of the tour, you will discover royal cuisine under the Bodhi tree such as chung cake, day cake, bird's nest tea...
Mr. Phung Quang Thang, Director of the Sustainable Tourism and International Development (STID) said, with the aim to draw more attentions from international visitors to the World Heritage Site - the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long in 2023, as well as, diversifying night tourism products for Ha Noi, the units have coordinated to launch the night tour version at Thang Long Imperial Citadel exclusively for international visitors. This version has been innovated, different from the previous night tour for domestic tourists - "Decoding the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long" launched on 29th April 2022.
Sharing his thought about the night tour to Ha Noi News, Mr. Vince Grimm, a visitor from America said, this is the second time he has been to the Thang Long Imperial Citadel but this is the first time to experience the night tour. He showed his astonishment and excitement to the night tour. According to Mr. Grimm, the night tour provides not only useful historical information but also gives the visitors a whole basket of emotions.
Mr. Graig Van Baal, a visitor joining the tour expressed his satisfaction after the night tour and affirmed that the "Thang Long Imperial Night" Tour is one of the best experiences he has had in Ha Noi.
