Other recognised dishes and specialties include Phan Thiet yellow codfish fish sauce of Binh Thuan province, Artichoke tea of Lam Dong province, Phu the (husband and wife) cake from Bac Ninh province, and Luc Ngan lychee of Bac Giang province.

The decision was based on nominations put forward by the Vietnam Records Organisation (VietKings) during the 2012 to 2023 period.

Since 2012, a total of 50 Vietnamese dishes and specialties have been recognised as Asian records by the ARO.
