Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh organised a seminar on tourism development associated with bear conservation in Ninh Binh on April 12, with the participation of representatives of the provincial Tourism Association, travel agencies, and accommodation facilities.

Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh is a project initiated by FOUR PAWS - a global animal welfare organisation.
Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh is home to 47 bears that were previously kept in captivity and illegally traded to harvest their bile. Following rescue, the bears are being cared for and their welfare is guaranteed according to international standards.

This is the only place that has a bear exhibition combined with a sightseeing route where visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the facility from above.
The Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh has a skywalk tour, allowing visitors can see the lives of bears from above. The establishment welcomed over 19,000 visitors in 2022, including international tourists, groups from schools and families. Visitors can join education activities to raise public awareness of animal welfare and conservation when they visit the facility.
Addressing the event, Ngo Thi Mai Huong, Director of Save Vietnam's Wildlife (SVW), said she wishes to promote connection and cooperation to build sustainable tourism products, thus giving Ninh Binh tourism a unique image in the eyes of tourists.
Accordingly, the Ninh Binh bear conservation facility has participated in the tourist map as an attractive destination for wildlife rescue and protection.
At the event, participants focused their discussion on orientations for exploiting and developing tourism products, the implementation of education programmes, as well as the possibility of cooperation in tourism development at the Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh.
