Enjoy the quintessence of national cuisine at Vietnam Culture - Culinary Festival 2023 in Quang Tri

(TITC) - With the theme "The soul of the nation - The taste of the homeland", Vietnam Culture - Culinary Festival 2023 will take place from 28th to 30th April 2023 at Cua Viet Tourist Service Area Square, Cua Viet Town, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province.

The Opening Ceremony will be held at 8pm on 28th April and live on Radio - Television of Quang Tri Province with a special art performance, cultural content plays an evocative role, showing the audience a panoramic view of the event.

This is one of the events to promote the economic  and tourism recovery of Vietnam in general and Quang Tri Province in particular in the period of "Speeding up recovery - accelerating development"; bear a responsibility to honour and promote the beauty of Vietnamese culture, tourism and cuisine; At the same time, aiming to make Vietnam a leading tourist destination in the region. The programme is considered as a cultural event with pervasive power, an opportunity to promote cultural values, potentials and strengths of the land and people of Quang Tri to domestic and international visitors.

Vietnam Culture - Culinary Festival 2023 is to promote food value, colourful and vibrant folk and traditions of Vietnam in different regions, thereby, destine the story of identity, the interference of life's flavours, highlighting the unique features in Vietnamese culture; Expressing the integration, development, continuation, and creation of eigenvalues in modern life.

There are several special activities taking place: A performance of the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine with the participation of artisans from three regions (North, Central, and South), a regional food fair with about 80 stalls, an outdoor music space and various activities on the sidelines.

Accordingly, there are many leading artisans and culinary experts in Vietnam participating to show the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine at the Festival such as: Eminent artist - Pham Ton Gia Hien; Central Highland Cuisine Expert - Nguyen Hoang; Culinary Specialist - Doan Thi Huong Giang, Chief Chef of Butcher Shop Plus - Nguyen Phuoc Nguyen; Lecturer & Culinary Specialist - Truong Minh Phung; Chef of Quang Tri Province - Nguyen Quoc Vuong; Member of the Executive Board of Binh Duong Professional Chefs Association - culinary expert Phan Duy Thanh…

The layout of space at the show is also a notable highlight. The Organising Board will set up a myriad of spaces with beautiful, artistic decoration. The culinary space is divided into North - Central - South areas with colours and cultural characteristics of each region. The North stands out with the peaceful countryside market scene; Central region with the characteristics of Hoi An ancient town; Southern with friendly, liberal style of the river in the West.

Not only introducing traditional cultural features, the festival also presents an outdoor music stage Sunset Chill music - where attractive and vibrant side activities take place to serve visitors to the festival, creating a romantic space, exquisite taste when enjoying the culinary quintessence right in front of the poetic Cua Viet beach.
