(TITC) - The Imperial Citadel of Thang Long is home to the imprint of the thousand-year-old capital of civilization. Another thing compared to Hoa Lo Prison is that it no longer retains the intact landscape like the original palace architecture, but now only archaeological vestiges remain. Therefore, discovering this place is like a journey to "decode" the mysterious history.
Within 90 minutes, visitors will be taken to Doan Mon - the principal gate leading to the Forbidden Citadel, where the emperors lived and worked in the past. Enjoy a royal banquet, meet the palace maids, guards, right on the vestiges of the Imperial Citadel. Next is the underground gallery with 215 artefacts, from Dai La period, then Dinh, Le, Ly, Tran, and Le Trung Hung dynasties.

Offering incense in memory of the 52 ancestral kings in front of the stone dragon of Kinh Thien Palace, visitors will receive "Sac menh chi bao" - the seal of the king certifying position and fame in the past and now to pray for peace and luck. Explore archaeological relics, bearing vestiges of the Palace in its golden period and feel the cool water flow from the ancient wells of the Tran Dynasty.
At each place where visitors pass, there will be suggestions, until the end there will be a laser display of some artefacts on the foundation of archaeological remains or on the ancient river, testing the memory and decoding skills of the visitors.

The end of the tour is a "banquet" under the Ficus religiosa tree, bringing visitors back to the royal palace, enjoying lotus tea, royal lotus jam and traditional cakes.
