Tik Tok is a video-sharing social networking service, which is owned by ByteDance. Tik Tok allows users to create short video clips doing voice overs to famous TV series or movie lines, or re-creating short dance sequences to music in the background. Just like it’s counterparts, Tik Tok allows users to build their profile, by gaining views and followers. It can be downloaded via the Apple App store, Google Play and also available on Amazon appstore.
Because of its highly personalized nature, and ability to deliver bite-sized information in video clips, users are increasingly gravitating towards TikTok to learn, discover, and even shop. In fact, 40% of Gen Z are using TikTok for search over Google. This demonstrates how the demands of the modern user are changing as short, visual content becomes preferential.
